WADDELL'S GEORGIA BUCK

QUESTION: Where did you take this buck?

ANSWER: I killed this deer in Georgia, on the last day of this past season. Having had a successful year already, I'd just planned to go to the stand to kill a big doe for some meat in the freezer. Take note of all the scrapes and rubs in the area, I was looking for a big fat doe, not a buck. In a way, I was disappointed to see antlers coming toward me. I thought the deer probably would be a small buck. However, he was a really nice, 125-class eight pointer, a real surprise. I shot him with a rifle from about 45 yards away.
