The second thing on the list needs to be a suit of long underwear designed for women without a fly in the front. Bass Pro Shop has some excellent ladies long underwear that will keep ladies warm and be comfortable when they're out in the woods. Fellows, I can tell you for sure the ladies don't like to wear your underwear. Next, buy the lady a pair of camo hunting pants made specifically for women. If women wear men's pants, they have problems with the pants that fit their hips not fitting their waists. Also the stride is often too long on men's pants. So spend the money, and buy the lady a pair of hunting pants designed for women. Bass Pro Shop and Redhead lines of clothing will fit these needs. |

Don't forget the raingear. I like the Whitewater rainsuit that has a parka with a hood and elastic waist pants. If you're going to buy a lady an insulated hunting suit, buy her a bib, coveralls and a parka-length insulated jacket. Redhead has a good line of ladies insulated bibs and parka-length coats. Make sure the bibs you buy have zippers up to the waist and are designed to fit a woman. You can write Brenda Valentine at P.O. Box 31, Buchanan, TN 38222 or email her at breval@wk.net |
