John's Journal... Entry 8 - Day 4

Fishing the Chandeleur Islands - Day Four

There are two other exciting trips at the Chandeleurs that haven't really been set up yet.  But this fall the quarters barge (see the photos) is going to move close to the mouth of the Mississippi where you will be able to duck hunt in the mornings and speckle fish, red fish and flounder fish after the duck hunting is over.

If you entertain customers and clients this will be a trip they are bound to remember because of the plush accommodations, great hunting and fishing, and outstanding guides.

Another trip that is excellent this time of the year is night fishing around the barge.  The speckled trout and redfish really congregate around the barge lights at night. And one of your biggest problems will be deciding which trout to keep and which trout to throw back.

A Chandeleur Islands trip out of the Beau Rivage makes for one of the finest business trips that you can take your customers on -- plush accommodations, Las Vegas style shows and casinos, outstanding food and service fit for a king.  This place makes Joe lunch-bucket fisherman like me feel like I have died and gone to heaven.  If you want to give a friend, family member or business client the trip of a lifetime, then you can't beat the Beau Rivage Chandeleur trip.

As a matter of fact, if my wife is reading this I hope she will sign me up to go again this spring.  I have learned that no one goes to the Chandeleur Islands only one time in their life.  The lure of the Chandeleurs and the friendly folks at the Beau Rivage are as addictive as ice cream and when the trip is over you'll have that same sweet smile that you experienced from your favorite frozen desert.

But why listen to me, call Bo Hamilton, who started out as a guide, and now has become a friend.  Let him tell you about your dream fishing or hunting trip.

Tomorrow the good gets better.

You can contact Bo Hamilton, Manager of Marine Operations, at (228) 386-7580 or write 875 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS, 39530.
