Where to Eat on Alabama's Gulf Coast

I also enjoyed delicious cuisine last week on my trip. On another spot in the Intracoastal Canal at Gulf Shores, Alabama, my son-in-law, my son and myself caught six flounder that weighed from 1 1/2- to 4 pounds each. We also had our fish cooked at the Fish Camp Restaurant on the Canal. The Fish Camp prepared our fish in several ways -- fried, broiled, grilled, etc. -- but all delicious. Besides the tasty accompanying dishes, we enjoyed meeting the friendly wait staff there.

When you go in this summer, tell Mikee the owner that John Phillips of Birmingham said hello. Oh yes, be sure to try the fried dill pickles. I hope you enjoy the pictures of the trip.
