Editor’s Note: Kevin VanDam of Kalamazoo, Michigan, won his 6th Angler-of-the-Year title last week in July, 2010, using some brand-new Strike King Lures.
Strike King has down-sized some of its soft-plastic lures, yet Kevin VanDam, this year’s Bassmaster Angler-of-the-Year winner, is a big-bass fisherman. We wondered why someone who was known as a power-bait and a big-bait fisherman was promoting small soft-plastic lures for this coming year. We also wanted to know what two soft-plastic lures were his favorites. In the video, VanDam answers these questions and more.
